i heard they were fishing it but dont no how the fishing is

if "they" were fishing it then "they" didn't use the public access. there was still open water and about 150 geese swimming around about 300yds to the right of the landing when i checked tuesday. it looked like a brave soul had gone about 20yds straight out, checked the ice, and turned around. no other tracks past that. the big small cove across was all iced up but i didn't see any tracks there either. i think the lake is going to need at least a week of teens-twenties.

How is the ice on miner lake?

I haven't been to the public access so I don't wanna comment on the ice there. I've been on the north bay a couple times, the ice there is good with alot of snow and some slush. I hear there is a tip-up contest there on Saturday, it will be a zoo and probably no room for parking.
