I fished today from 4-8 on Cranberry Lk. and did pretty well. I caught 25 or so fish and sorted out 15 bigger gills and specs. I caught all the fish on waxies. I tried jigging with minnows for crappie after dark with a light but I didn't have much luck. Most of the fish I caught were before dark 3-4' off the bottom. I was surprised that I didn't see any crappie suspending higher off the bottom. I'm going out tommorrow morning and fishing all day so I'll post another report. Oh yeah, the ice was a good 4+" with 3-6" of snow on top depending on where you walked.
