what fish can you catch not far off shore (like 100-200 feet) in an average of...maybe 5-6 feet of water(ice excluded). also how would i catch these? what would i use?
also could i know about pike spearing?

There is an "ice fishing" set of forums where the talk is pretty constant now. Check out the Lake St. Clair child forum that is ready made for your questions.

As it is, in that depth of water you have a chance of catching a lot of perch, bluegill, crappie. Then there is the possibility of some Walleye, a Muskie or Pike, and probably some Bass coming through. For a little excitement you could catch a Dogfish or a Sucker or maybe even a Carp.
