I Shoot Easton xx75 2018 arrows is there a certain broadhead that would match up with them good?

Well depends on your personal preference and how well your bow is tuned. some of my choices:
Fixed Blade:
1. Slick tricks
2. Thunderheads
3. G5 Montecs
3. Muzzy 3 blade
4. Rocky Mtn T-100
6. Hellrazor
Mechanical Blade:
1. Rage
2. Hypershock
3. NAP Spitfires
again like everybody will tell you depends on your set up and what works for your particular bow.

What kind of set up are you using? Can you give an estimation of your arrow speed?
I also shoot Aluminum (Easton XX75, 2216). Thunderhead 125's work well for me.
If I were to choose I different fixed blade, I'd probably go with a 125 Muzzy for an extra 1/16 inch cutting diameter.

NAP Nitron Fixed blade
no tuning required...shoot with field points....screw the nitron on,
go hunting no matter what your setup.
nothing but passthru's, no energy wasted, sharp as a razor blade, durable.
Cutting DIA is small...but doesnt matter because they are so accurate.

I have no idea what my arrow speed is. My bow is a martin orion set at 45 pounds but I hope to have it up to 55 by next hunting season if that tells you anything?

At 50 pounds, with the arrow you are using I would guess that a 100 grain broadhead would be good. I would probably go with a fixed-blade and tune until it shot like a field point. Thunderhead, Muzzy, Wasp SST.... take you choice. There really isn't any magic. Pick the appropriate weight, tune your bow, and place any of these through both lungs and the deer will run 100 yards or less.

believe it....
i didn't believe it until i saw it with my own eyes...
i shot my field points...screwed on the nitron....sliced my vanes from the previous shot (25yds)
my buddy left the 100gr. hypershocks after passthru issues.
I had him screw on a 100gr nitron that had already been thru a deer.
He shot 2 field points and then the nitron.... shot right in between his first 2 shots.
Give it a try. As long as your bows tuned up to shoot field points...the nitrons are tuned as well...

....As long as your bows tuned up to shoot field points......
I think the above was the point in question.
At speeds somewhere less than 250 fps most (1 3/16 - 1 1/4 inch cut) broadheads will shoot with field points out of a well tuned bow.
The original poster is shooting aluminum arrows and an approximate 50 pound draw. He should be able to get good performance with any decent fixed blade.
I am sure that Slick Tricks and other higher price broadheads will work just fine, but he could shoot Thunderheads or Muzzys for 1/2 the price.

Exactly my point. With nitrons, you can tune with field or with the broadhead...it doesnt matter
As long as your bow is in good shape and shootin strait...your good to go
but no matter what i say sbooy...it wont matter for you
i know your type....your "all knowing"...and nobody can tell you different.

lolol:lol:Oh yeah you really know My type.. I do know bad advice when I see it and highlighted in red is horrible advice.. I have never shot the nitron but I'm guessing there is nothing magical about it and it should be treated like any other broadhead...
I know your type too and I learned a long time ago not to argue with you for fear of being beat up with experience....:D:16suspect

i'm just confident in the broadhead...there is no magic....
for me, and others that have shot them and had expierence with them
literally, screwed them on....plunked a few arrows and they were dead nuts
i encourage you to give it a shot....don't knock something you know nothing about...you said it yourself...you have "never shot a nitron"
and yes..sorry for the hijack
but trust me, you want something that works no questions asked....
IMO...its a solid performer in every aspect.

I Shoot Easton xx75 2018 arrows is there a certain broadhead that would match up with them good? I would use a small fixed blade judging by the size of your arrow and your font. How about a nitron, muzzy or slick trick. any of those should work well.

I agree that its a solid performer but please refrain from saying that this broadhead is a "screw on and shoot" broadhead. You were obviously tuned for that particular head and although that's great for you, that may not be the case for EVERYONE. I think that's the point Sbooy was making.;)

actually i was tuned for a totally different broadhead...as was a friend of mine.
I was tuned for a Crossfire.....my buddy was tuned for a hypershock.
Our bows in general were tuned up (paper etc)...yes
I was as skeptical as many...seriously. \
I shot plenty of fixed heads...this was a first for me..
And as accurate as the crossfires were...the nitrons raised the bar that much higher.
i was a non believer...till i literally screwed off my crossfire, and screwed on the nitron...and saw my friend to the very same thing.
I'm not a NAP employee...I'm not trying to sell something. I really don't care.
Someone wanted broadhead opinions, so i gave it.
Then i was forced to defend myself.

I'm not debating the Nitron I'm sure its a great head. Heck its made by NAP so I'm sure its quality...But like stated, I don't agree with your "screw it on and hunt" advice..
Obviously you and your buddy's bows were tuned... Being tuned to a specific broadhead is irrelevant because any properly tuned bow will shoot a good broadhead with field points..
Even though I hunt with Spitfires, I final tune with Montecs and Slick Tricks to the same POI as feildpoints just so I know that my bow is fine tuned..
Its nothing against you Gut Pile I just worry about someone reading your post and thinking they can screw a head on and go hunting.. even worse they go hunting and wound a deer because their bow wasn't tuned for broadheads...

I have been shooting Spitfire 100gr all year and after shooting my 3rd deer today and not getting a pass through:rant::rant::rant: I will be switching for next year. All the shots were good shots and I am shooting a Switchback at 70lb. so the speed and power is there. Not sure what I will use. But, I have 5 (yes 5) packs of unopened spitfires if anyone is interested. I will give a decent deal on them.

Sorry to here about your bad luck. That's strange because I have yet to not get a passthrough with em out of my older Hoyt...The only thing I can think of is maybe your bow is untuned a little and the arrow is trying to go through sides-ways... Anyway I can completely understand the sour taste, I wouldn't want to use them anymore either..
Are you getting rid of XPs or original spitfires..

I am surprised that grim reapers haven't been mentioned, I have taken 3 deer and 1 turkey in the past year with hundred grain mechanical. I have had awesome blood trails the farthest any deer made it was 40 yards...
