Peeps

I'm thinking of putting on the Meta peep when I get my new setup.

What sizes do you guys like. I've always drilled out my plastic peeps. I'm thinking 3/16 or 1/4.

What is best for hunting?

I've used the 5/16" and the 1/4" on my LX and Switchback XT. The 5/16" was too big and the 1/4" was just right.

I have 1/4 G5's on my X-Force and going to put another (same size) on my switchback when I swap out my strings.

Lou Grace ( owner G5) told me that when you look thru the peep it should be the same size as the round ring part of ths sight. By the way, keep an eye out for some great stuff from G5 coming up next year.

I use a 3/16" meta peep for hunting . It is plenty big enough ,and just surrounds my pin guard .

Can't really go by anyone elses choice. DL, AtA, sight housing ring size and personal preference will mainly determine what's best for each individual. But for the most part, hunters will normally go with a larger size.
