View Full Version : Measuring tiller
I've read that with parallel limb bows you can't measure from the string to the riser. You must run a string from axel to axel and measure from there. Is this true? If I measure from my bow's string, my tiller is off. But if I run the string from ata & measure from there my tiller is on. This had been giving me fits before I read that I wasn't supposed to measure from the bows string.

Depends on the bow actually. If you have the same cams/wheels on each end it won't make a difference.

Because the hybrids are normally mismatched cams, I'd go axle to axle for sure. Usually when you bottom out your limb bolts if you back them out equal turns you'd be right on the money. I've found this to be true the vast majority of the time.
