As most of you know,My family is going thru a very tuff time right now. I'm still unable to work because of my on going injuries from my fall of the roof. My case is tied up in court and you know how that goes. My wife is only able to work part time because she has issues with her leg from when she broke it last year, she cant stand or walk for very long, on top of the fact that she has a very bad case of carpel tunnel in her right wrist. The dr's want to do surgery on both her leg and wrist but she cant do it right now because she is the only one that can get around. We have 3 little kids at home and I have a hard time getting up and down the stairs and doing everyday stuff. It has gotten so bad that when My back flairs up I cant move or when My knee starts bothering me I cant walk. This is horrable because I'm only 33 years old.. Now you add the stress of not having any income,(except a part time check my wife gets) and the fact that we applied for state aid and we have been getting it Very little but it helps. Well we get a letter yesterday saying that some paper work wasn't filled out so they are stopping it for 3 months, so we are worried. We have done everything we had to do and they still screwed us. I have never been in such a rutt in my life, the only thing we have to keep us going is this cable that we have so we have a phone, internet and cable. Its our only connection to the outside world. Now with Christmas around the corner, Im really stressed out because of the kids and the wife. I know there are people out there that are worse then us, but this is horrable. So if you could keep my family in your holiday prayers and beyond....
I'm a faithful Christian but God is really stretching me thin in the "keep the faith department"...This has been a ruff year with my injuries and all 3 kids being in the hospital...
So if I could just ask your great group of people to keep praying for my family during these "super duper tuff time's"
Thanks and god bless you all

You've been there for me, and I will be there for you. I'll be praying for you and your family. I know this may suck, but have you checked into toys for tots? At least your kids will get gifts and it may lift a little stress off of you and your wife for getting them gifts. My wife was gonna check into it for our kids, but my pride would not let her do it. Anything you need let me know, and I will do anything in my power to help you guys out.

Check in with youre Local Church Groups, and Dept. Of Human service they usuelly have places that can help with the gifts for the Kids.( iget the paper every year, where they offer to buy the Kids gifts, so YES they do that. Dont let them LIE to you, which they will.)
Go here and they might be able to help

As for the paper that was *missing*, I would ask them WHAT paper was not filled out, this happend to me once, and low and behold they *found* the paper later cramped up somewhere.
Ask for youre Hearing, tell them whats going on. !!
I will keep you in prayers,, keep strong!!

Prayers sent - we've been through some tough times ourselves. Call the dept. of Human Services, ask to talk to a social worker. They've helped us our tons over the last couple of years with both of our kids in many many different ways. let them know about your situation. For the most part, everyone there is always more than willing to lend a hand, especially for the kids. Keep the faith and stay strong for the your family's sake. Tough times can be tough on everyone....including your wife and children. Give lots of hugs to all of 'em, it really helps.

Prayer sent for the whole family. Sad, but I know exactly what you are going through as I have been there. It really sucks.
However, do not think that, "God is really stretching me thin in the "keep the faith department"... This is not the work of God!!!! Believe that and believe that God can and will help. There are always other forces at work for evil and we must always fight against them. Best way to fight is with the Word of God.
In addition, think seriously about contacting your congressman; either a senator or representative. Believe it or not, they can and will help in these type of situations.

Prayers sent. Hang in there and let us know if there is anything we can do to help.
Please do ask and pray for help yourself too. There are many people and organizations nearby that would be happy to help you. Pray about it, let go of it, and have the courage to ask for what you need. You may be surprised what happens next. Use that phone all you can while it is still working.

Prayer said and will continue to pray for you and your family. I will be the first to admit that i have been through tough times and the one true great thing is that my faith has always gotten stronger going through it. I know that doesnt pay the bills and take a way your pain, but there is ALWAYS something good that comes out of tough situation.
I would really like to see the site start up some kinda of Donation for your family. I have a few extra dollars that i would love to donate.

please dont loose ur faith, i have seen it happen, my dad went through something liek this while we wre building our house, i was about 10, we had no place to live, me and my sisters had to share a blow up bed in a heated barn, my dad lost faith and is now just getting it back, but everything changed, he turned into an alcoholic and stuff got worse, keep the faith, keep praying, and if u need any help around ur house let me know, i am laid off right now and i would be more then willing to come and help out with anything at no cost, also if u need some venison let me know, i have plenty and would love to give u and ur family some. keep praying and god will be there

So I'm wandering around the site looking for some faith based content, and I see that I have never visited the Sportsmen of Faith forum. Lo and behold, there's the name of a friend who I've been missing lately because I'm in such a habit of talking to/emailing daily, while we prepared for this season.
Sorry I haven't been more attentive and didn't see your post until this morning. Prayers from Nicola and I for the family and for your faith to stay strong.
I sure hope you can smile any time you think about our 2007 deer season. I know I will always be able to. You got a deer, certainly not your first. I got my first ever, then a second in the same day. My point is I owe it to you and your generosity of letting me come with you. And I thank God for the opportunity.

I know it's really close to Christmas and my wife and i don't have the funds to buy new things but we have many toys that the boy's have received over the years that they don't use and will not miss them one bit. They are new looking, clean and bought for our boy's. (3 yrs and 6 yrs) Nothing really extravagant but If you call me I can try to meet you somewhere on Monday to drop off some. I'll be in the Madison Heights area on Monday working till 2:30pm and heading back to Lapeer (home) after work. I can get a few together if you like. I can have my wife wrap them as well.
I'll PM you my phone number and you can call me this weekend if your interested. If not, that's okay. We send our prayers.
We've had very hard times financially as well. I would be happy to do what ever I can. I also have venison if you would like some? I'm sending a PM with my phone number.
