Went to Cabelas today to look at vexilars....... well the looking didnt last very long i ended up buying an FL-18 propack with 12 degree transducer. May get the duel transducer later but i figured i would try out the 12. My dad and I also opened a Cabelas Visa and saved 30 dollars, and got 20 dollars of shopping for free, and two free hats so i couldnt pass it up. Anyways who wants to hit some small lakes with me and test this puppy out?!

The best advice I can give you is to go to www.vexilar.com and search around the page. You can find videos and also frequently asked questions on the page that are quite helpful. Also search "Vexilar" on this site you will get a bunch of threads on a bunch of topics that are quite helpful. Also guys i was just wondering i didn't have the money for the duel transducer do you think i went wrong wiht the 12 degree?? I mainly fish for crappie and gills but want to hook up some Erie walleyes and LSC perch. Anyone have the 12 and find it to be ok in shallower water lets say 10-15 ft?? I always read on here buy the best you can get with the money u have haha so I did. Thanks guys. Chris.:fish:
