I am looking at a Bowtech tribute, I have shot it as well as others. Can anyone give me their opinions on it?

I love mine. Its a 06 model with speed mods. See my sig line for further. Great shooting bow and acutally feels "longer" AtA then the 31 inch that it is. Great tree stand bow.
I have had absolutely no problems with it in the going on 2 years that I have had it. Its quick and quiet.
Hope this helps

I have an 06 as well. Very good bow, that shoots like a much longer A2A bow. You have to pick the bow that you like best though.

Have an 06 and love it. Can't say anything bad about it. Very smooth and quiet bow.

Thanks for the input. I shot several different bows and narrowed the choices down to this tribute and a pse octane. The tribute is a 2006 I believe, brand new at a deep discount. What do you guys suggest, the smooth cam or speed cam? I am going to shoot it again today and closethe deal if it feels as good today as it did yesterday.

I have an '06 as well. I think it's a great shooting/feeling bow. Smooth, quiet, fast. Smooth draw, solid wall. I think I have speed cams on mine. What is the difference between smooth/speed cams? I think mine is already smooth. If it feels good to you that's all that matters.

Its actually the speed and smooth modules in the cam not the cam itself. The speed cams will obvously give you more speed but the draw cycle is usally more harsh.

I actually like the speed mods on my tribute. I started off with the smooth, but only pulling 60lbs the let off on the smooth was a very abrupt drop off. For me, the speed mods are not harsh at all. I think that they are acutally smoother feeling. With the let off on the smooth I could easily bounce my arrow off of the rest when I reached the end of the draw cycle. Not with the speed mods. I guess see if you can shoot both and see which ones u like. A good shop will switch em around for you to see which one u like (they only take a minutes to change).
Hope this helps
