So...went to see the ne toys at Kenny's on Sat.

Boys lemme tell ya....
The Bowtech's are nice
The Mathews are smooth
The Hoyt's are steady

But that Firecat and MOAB are HAWT!!

Just a touch of a jump on the Firecat but I was shooting it bare naked too. I shot the MOAB (which is the same as the Cat with a single cam) with a simple stanilizer on it and thought there's no way these could be the same bow...

I added the stab (4" Hoyt stab) to the Cat and couldn't believe it.
Scary quiet, super fast, GREAT grip, held like a rock and the draw cycle was MUCH nicer than anything I anticipated with the speeds it touts.

It does load up quick but seems to steadily get easier until it drops gently into the valley. Rock hard back wall the way only a drawstop can provide, generous valley (unheard of in a "speed Bow) and all around a joy to shoot.

I must admit...when I get mine I'll be hammering the plastic cat decal outta the riser on day one though.

And now for the fun stuff....
I was playing around with the leghold traps Kenny has there while we're discussing the new "Kevlar Arrows" from CX...we got the idea to shoot an arrow into the trap to ....umm....test the durability of some old Aluminum arrows:p

Or maybe it was snowy and we were bored.....

But anyway...ya'll shouldn't try this at home. It's WAY to fun watching the trap snap crackle the shaft upon impact:lol: I took pics on my phone but I don't know how to get the dang things offa there:confused:

Good time was had for sure and you fence sitters and guys with cool Girls need to send em in to KD for a little Christmas action.

The MOAB and Firecat even make Santa drool;)

I think I posted a few weeks back to watch out for what Martin had coming out:D , I will say I told you so;).
There new line of bows are the whip! Wait til you shoot the Mystic , straight limb with Mpro , it is real nice to shoot also.

I myself am going to order a Mystic Elite with Furious cams , and a Firecat for hunting. Should be a real good year for Martin! Glad you like what you shot Kelly!

Know wait for the Rytera line to show up , and I think youll like that also!

That's the only reason the Firecat is still on Kenny's rack Shorty;)

I tell ya it'll take a LOT of bow to get me away from my Bullet X though B.

Nitrous standard, Nitrous with the shoot thru and the Vipro all within about 30 minutes in my little basement shop...super versatile.

If it only had a rear mount stab tap I wouldn't even be lookin;)

I actually like my Pantera better than the BulletX , bit I didnt have the Nitrous cams. And I also have the updated Mpro cam. That thing is smooth ,and shoots great. Almost hate to get rid of it , but gotta make room for some new ponies in the stable ya know:D

I bought my new MOAB with the integrated STS installed. Love that M-Pro cam, especially with my bad shoulder.

That is a thing of Beauty Dan!

And the Mpro is a super dreamy-creamy drawing cam isn't it?

And let's not even get into the price:yikes:

I was just going to ask what they set you back.
I've been a Martin shooter all my life, I look at other bows, but always stay with Martin.
Thanks for the great review Kelly.
I'm feeling like I'll be in the market for a new bow shortly

$469 for the MOAB
$599 for the Firecat

$150 for the new cam system it seems. They're the same bow other than that from what I could tell.

Shot both the Moab and Firecat at Jays yesterday. The Cat is sweet but I didn't like the draw transition to letoff. A smooth draw with this bow is very difficult but man it shoots nice. In my opinion, the Moab is a much better hunting bow with it's silky smooth draw cycle. They are both shock free and dead silent! I'm kinda a speed freak but it's looking like the Moab is gonna be in my bowcase. These two are gonna be hard to beat for 2008!
