Do I need to have both a kisser and a peep or is this overkill? Do I just need one or the other?? Thanks.

Whatever works for you....I don't use either one and I'm shooting great. Find something that works and go with it.

Agreed. You need to use what works best for you. I use neither myself and shoot extremely well.;)

Wow! Three in a row (including myself) that do not use either a kisser or peep. I thought we were the minority.
Yep, as they said... whatever works for you.

I started with a peep. It's still on my bow but I realize that when I'm drawing, it has become natural. Meaning that the peep allowed me to develop the proper draw and feel. I realized that I wasn't actually looking through the peep, but rather getting the natural feel. I just happened to then focus on the peep and thought...damn, I hardly focus directly through that thing anymore. So at best, either will get you trained into what's your natural fit, I just happened to like the concept of a rear and front sight.

Get one, practice and then it will be instinctual.:D

I just use a peep , and center the round pin guard inside the peep at full draw .

I only use a kisser button. I line up the edge of the string with my pin for another reference point.
