Has any one tried both of these vanes? Do the quik spins vanes affect arrow flight past 30yds? Do the quik spin vanes effect broadhead flight? Any info would be helpful.

No experience with Quickspins but i did change from conventional vanes to Blazer vanes and i did see a dramatic difference in arrow stabilization with broadheads and field points. I have much better consistency to my groups now. I was a skeptic but now i'm a believer!!! I shoot a Hoyt magnatec at 60#'s with Easton epic carboneros. I have a 360 capture rest and i shoot a release. Hope this helps!!

Most all reviews for Blazer vanes are positive, that is why i tried them first and have not looked back!!

Good Luck!!;)

For me the Quickspins drop out faster than the Blazers do after 30 yards. More resistance I would imagine is the culprit.

I really like the blazers,if you are worried about spin put a slight helical on them

If you have a fall away rest go with FOB'S..

I'll be switching to blazers next year...just stripping the current vanes off and refletching. I shot a friends blazers and was very impressed.

I shoot blazers and love em. They have a Speed Hunter that is a combo of the two I just cant say how they perform though, good luck;)

I have a friend that has always loved the quik spins even though he says they dont do everything they say they will. I switched from traditional bohning fletchings last year to the blazers. We have almost identical setups with our bows and equipment. When he shoots my arrows with the blazers he shoots 2 inches higher at 30 yards then what he does with his quik spins. When i shoot his quik spins i am 2 inches lower at 30 yards. We both have noticed that the blazers are more stable in flight and are quicker to stablize than the quik spins. He has already stripped his arrows and is putting blazers on his.

Try both of them and see what you like. I do have QS on my indoor and 3D arrows.
Once you are tired of gluing fletchings, put a set of FOB's on and I am sure you will throw away the glue!

IMO quickspins are to noisy.

The QS rely on the little "Kickers" to get them turning.

They'll spin on even a straight fletch and that can help if your shooting a big fat nasty fixed blade at higher speeds.
They're relatively expensive
They don't take the abuse some other vanes do.

The blazers are a higher profile with shortened length.
They work due to catching "clean air" outside the air flow of the head in use..
They're relatively inexpensive.
They're pretty stiff and very durable.
They're tough to get any hellical on due to the length and aren't always the best choice for a big profile fixed blade that has a tendency to plane.

I've shot both and they both work but I'm cheap and stick with blazers;)

Blazers are good, but they are a little noisy. I have put the miniblazers through the test and they fly great with field points and my rocket steelheads. I still like the 4" vanetech vanes. Ultra durable!

Guess that answers my question I had about vanes. Thanks! I will try the blazer vanes.:)
