I am thinking about buying a PSE X-Force this coming spring. I was wondering what arrows some of the X-force owners shoot. I wanted to be able to shoot the maxima hunters as this year but think I will need a heavier arrow. There are many bows I need to check out but as far as stats go I am thinking the X-force will be my first option. I do not want to shoot near the minimum grains per pound to avoid possible limb damage. Thanks 4 any help

I have an X-Force, I have a 30 DL and the DW is 70. I am currently shooting Gold Tip Expedition Hunters and they shoot great and are a lot cheaper then the maxima. I am getting great speed 327 fps and the bow is extremely quiet and penetration is unbelievable. The arrow weight is 380 grains which is 5.4 grains per pound of draw weight which is within the warranty limits. The good thing about PSE is it has a lifetime warranty on the limbs and riser.
What is your DL and DW for your X-Force, is it the X-Force with the 6 or 7 brace height? Here is a picture of my X-Force. Are you located in K-Zoo or Canton?

I was looking at the 6 inch brace height. My draw length is 29 and want to be pulling 75 lbs. I am at school in Kalamazoo but my permanent residence is in Canton. That is a sweet set-up. I planned on moving all of my accessories from my browning tornado. The amount I paid for all my accessories nearly doubles the price that I actually paid for the bare bow so I am thinking an upgrade is necessary. How much did the bare bow cost you? Looking on their website their msrp price is $850. Seems pretty high compared to other high end bows out there but I want to invest in a quality bow that will last atleast 6-7 years.

I paid $625, it was a pro shop test bow. You can pick them up on E-Bay for around $650 (sometimes cheaper) and I have seen them on AT for around the same price. Most pro shops have them listed at $795.00 new.
If you are going to get the 70-80# make sure you shoot it first. This bow has a really small valley and wants to go once you get her back. There is a big difference between holding the X-Force at 70# versus my Switchback at 70#.
My biggest complaint with the bow is target wear. I have to use 2 targets because of the speed and KE, I was blowing through my block and had to set another one about a foot behind it to stop the arrow.
