Did you know that:

At the top of the US Supreme Court building is a full frontal view of Moses and he is holding the Ten Commandments.

As you enter the Supreme Court courtroom the two huge oak doors have the Ten Commandments engraved on each lower portion of each door.

Right above where the judges sit is a display of the Ten Commandments.

There are bible verses etched in stone all over the Federal Buildings and Monuments in Wash. DC.

Every session of Congress begins with a prayer by a paid preacher, whose salary has been paid by the taxpayer since 1777.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

It is said that 86% of Americans believe in God. Therefore it is very hard to understand why there is such a mess about having the Ten Commandments on display or "In God we Trust" on our money and having God in the Pledge of Allegiance..............

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just something to think about............

For whatever the reason - I find that 'most' that believe but don't 'stand up' have some apprehension about professing the love of the Lord in public - This is, after all, a fallen creation, it's hard for sinners to stand up and say to the world, hey, I have fallen short in the eyes of God and I ask His forgiveness.

People like to put on 'the face' in public and therefor, don't need the Ten Commandments, in structures or print.

I find that sad - this entire country and way of life was founded on the believe that there was a God and that we had been blessed by Him to find this land and make this, the 'great experiment' work to this day.

God bless us all - and to quote a corny bumper snicker -

"Wise men still seek Him" - I'm not wise, but I keep seeking :)

I feel ya! I find a lot of people believe in God but if you ask them who God is they have no idea. If as many people followed God as believed in Him this country would be a lot better off. But, like Ferg said Im not wise but I keep seeking. I make an excellent bad example.

I did know that are whole goverment and school system was built around god!!! Including are money (In god we Trust)and Police departments...Dont " me but I think the color blue on cops uniforms has somthing to do with the sabbath..

I Believe that this country has done well under god,,Now with all the un-goddly stuff that goes on here, We could become the next rome.

Rome was twice as powerfull as U.S. They had a big problem, worshiping false gods is just one of many examples. We see where that got them!

Im the furthest thing from perfect..But Im not affraid to talk about god,Jesus In public ,it is just hard to get people to listen with out them thinking your a quack. You dont dare talk about god at your work, you could affend someone and get fired:confused:.Christians are a dying breed in This country Thanks to media, tv, are own school systems. etc.

Good thing the Truth Is etched in our hearts through (Jesus The Christ)
