Tahquamenon Falls/River

Will be spending the weekend in Paradise, Visiting the Falls for this years' Anniversary trip. I have permission to take my fishing pole, but can't find my rules and regs booklet, does the Tahquamenon River have any restrictions I need to know about? Also heard you can rent rowboats to get up the river to the falls, can anyone confirm that?

That Tahq. is a type 1 river which means that you can keep 5 fish 7"min for Brook trout and browns and 10 inch for Rainbows...No more than three fish may be 15 or over.
I have never fished the Tahq. but I considered it last summer. In my research I discovered that it is a better warm water fishery than a trout river!!! I guess the musky fishing is really good during the spawn.(I'm not sure when that is). Anyway there is supposed to be decent trout water nit far downstram from the falls.
