Thinking of making the switch to mechanicals next year and the rages have peaked my interest. Seeing those massive entrance holes are something else. On that note how are the exit holes? I mean are you getting good enought penetration for pass throughs with these. How about hitting bones, will they hold up and blow through that shoulder if the shot is a little off?

Best broadhead I have ever used, fly like field points, massive entry and exit wounds, best blood trails I have seen in 30 years of bow hunting.
Between my friends and myself I have seen 3 hits this year, all complete
pass throughs, all 3 dropped in 30 to 50 yards, all 3 double lung hits.
I don't know what they would do in a shoulder hit, but from my experience
no broad head will consistantly penetrate shoulder bone on a muture buck.
If you hit one there you are probably S.O.L.

I put a 2 blade through the offside shoulder of an average size doe as she was slightly quartering. Complete pass thru. She died in a matter of seconds, ran about 50 yards or so. Broadhead was in good condition with one blade slightly bent. Could likely straighten and reuse if it were necessary. Blades were still suprisingly sharp.
Shooting 68# with a 420 grain arrow approx 285 fps. I have no plans to use anything else for now.
Buy em if you can find em or buy them early next year.

Thanks for the replies guys. I was thinking that when pulling 65+ pounds you would get both good penetration and big entry and exit holes. Might give them a try next year.

I have always shot thuunderheads, and this year when I got my Bowtech I couldnt get the TH to shoot right. So I tried these and awsome! First off durability; I put the same head through two deer, and the only sign of wear was the o-ring was gone.
I shot a doe at 22 yards broadside, only bones that were hit were ribs. She ran for 3 steps and stopped. she looked around and got wobbly and that was it. I've never had that happen before.
Another was a buck, I didnt hit him good, but w/o the rage I never would have found him.
So I would totally recomend them for anybody with a draw weight that will create penetration.
