I'm looking for a centerpin this Christmas and was wondering if anyone had any reviews on the new Loomis. I'm tempted to just buy it based on the quality of their others products I've purchased, but some second-hand opinions would be appreciated. Right now it's the Loomis or hold out for the Ross.

G.Loomis has a new centerpin reel? I know they have a branded version of the Bob James "Tournament drifter",but is there a new one being released soon? Hmmmmm............

I dont believe there's a "new" one out.
I've got a used one for sale at $159, if interested.
Its a bulletproof reel and great for all applications with the exception of fishing real slow water where there its works fine but you have to pay more attention to the spool to make sure its still moving when compared to fishing my hanson / mykiss. Its also a bit on the heavy side if you are planning on using it on a rod under 13'. It does have some of the best, big wood handles on any reel I know. They are never an issue even when wet. It also has a great clicker. Let me know if you have specific quesitons. Being I haven't fished the Flow yet, I can't offer you a comparison but can tell you I'm selling mine very cheap because I now live in SE PA and its not being used, so if you do decide to get something else in the future you should get your money back on my reel.
