A friend of mine is staying this weekend near Forty Mile Point on Lake Huron, north of Rogers City. I was hoping someone from the site could recommend some good trout water (no secret holes please) nearby.
I have checked my Michigan atlas and Tom Huggler's books, and it looks like the Black and Ocqueoc are the best bets, actually the Ocqueoc looks closest.
Going a little farther, the Pigeon and Sturgeon become possibilities. The Thunder Bay also looks OK but I hear access on the TB is not easy.
Could anyone agree or disagree with these ideas? If you don't want it on the forums, please PM me. Thanks alot.
