Furniture Plans?

Does anyone have a place to get some decent furniture plans? I'm mainly looking for plans for a crib or other baby furniture. I'm thinking that if/when we have kids I'd like to make something for in thier room. I've made some other peices before but nothing like a crib. I don't have a lathe so I'm not looking to make my own spindles and such, but maybe make an heirloom of my own.

Here's another site very much like ours (in fact I think they use the same forums software that we do) but they are dedicated to woodworking. Garden Bay from this site showed it to me about a year ago and I've been a member over there ever since. I just built a cradle for my son (born 09/11/07). I can't find the link to the plans, it isn't in either link above. I think I have a picture on my computer, (pre-finished). If I do, I'll post it. If you like it, I'll find the link, or send you a copy of the original.

Hey Doug,
I did the same thing you are doing about 1 year ago. It was difficult to find plans for a crib. I am guessing it has something to do with liability and the Federal regulations that cribs need to be built by. After looking at some available crib plans I decided that I didn't like any of them and drew my own. I found pictures of a crib online that liked and designed my plans from them. I purchased the crib hardware (slide rails) from Rockler and built everything from scratch. Here is a link to pictures of me building the crib and the final product.
