Rabbits Wanted

I'm looking for San Juan or Missouri Cottontail rabbits or mixes to train beagle pups with. No lops or "slow" rabbits, I dont want any to be caught by the pups. They are for scent training only.

If anyone knows someone who raises these, or similar rabbits..it would be greatly appreciated.

How far are you from Clare? There's a young Amish fella there that sells them for $8 each. I bought three from him two years ago. That was enough for me to keep my own supply.

They are plenty hardy for pup training. Older dogs will catch them.
