I had the pleasure of fishing with one floodgate. Current was kicking butt. We went 0 for 2 on bait and 1 for 2 pulling plugs. My arms sure are sore, trying to row against all that water. I guess I'm getting old.

Did you put in at Shamrock park or are the other boat landings open?? Am going Sun and want to fish somewhere other than up by the dam. Thanks

I launched at Shamrock. I'm not sure about other ramps. I did talk to a guide and he said the mouth was open.

You might see me there. If the fishing pressure is high, I'll be a bankie. If not I'll put the boat in.
