Actually I haven't had a chance to put any of my boats away? You offering?:lol:...seriously, I'm going to be winterizing the Sportcraft this week but the Alumacraft is going to stay at the ready in my garage. The duckboat is already done for this year, my buddy damaged the hull a few weeks ago in his backyard! Ouch.

Gotta work the 15th.. can't take it off. But I have the 16th off.... so I ultimately think I will end up out fishing, if the weather is okay.. if it's not going to be good weather.. bets are I will be in a blind with a shotgun.

I think we are going to don the kevlar life jackets too!! One of the lakes we are going to fish is 90% surrounded by state land!!! Wonder how many bullets will be skipping off the water around us!

I've actually just decided.. I'll be hitting up a few spots on the Flint river, and then maybe a few lakes around genesee county this weekend. Weather is supposed to be real nice.. and those furry brown things aren't worth it anyway. I'm not skilled enough with a bow and gun hunting is just cheating.

Anyway, If I can't make anything happen by sunday I might just either have to break out the boat (if grandpa didn't winterize EVERYTHING yet) and try to catch SOMETHING in SOME LAKE SOMEWHERE.. cuz if I can't get a meal this weekend, then I'm going to need someone to teach me how to fish. Seriously.

Looks like the last couple of days would have been better weather wise. mostly cloudy, 40% chance of precip (snow possible), winds 15-25 mph all day!! Crap!!

Well, it snowed on us most of the day. We fished 3 different lakes, tried to get into a fourth but weren't able to due to low water (Brandon backed the entire truck 10' into the lake and the boat still wasn't even touching the water!!). The wind blew us off one lake. We only managed a couple (3?) pike and one bass, and some cold fingers and feet! I did have two BIG bass take my drop shot as hard as any fish I've had all season... but I apparently didn't get a good hook in either of them and the fight was short.

The Sea Nymho did manage one nice, fat 30" northern that put up a good tussle for sure. I'll let him post a pic of it if he wants. For the 5th straight time fishing from the Nympho's boat, I did not manage to catch a keeper fish of any species. I swear that boat has a curse on me!!!

AT least you did land a bass on NOV 15! I came real close, it got off right at the boat.

3 days of nice weather, 1 day of total crap (our fishing day, or course:dizzy:), and then today isn't too bad, again! Go figure. At least I caught this:
