Whew! Good thing I didn't jump on the bandwagon this week or I'd have paid full price for the tickets.:lol:

3 losses and all really BAD road losses. That = S.O.L (Same Ole Lions)

I think I have a new signature idea for me:
"I was a Lions fan UNTIL 2003" :dizzy::lol::yikes:

They better get there act together for the next week and a half.

That Macdonald fumble was a BS call. Clearly his forearm was down before the ball came out. Changed the whole momentum of the game. Can't believe it was not overturned.

the last call was kinda funny too, the 15 yards for Roy taking his helmet off. Honestly, it looked like roy was a little dazed and he took his helmet off to get air or to clear his head.

Not that it really would have mattered, but there were quite a few 'funny' things going on in that game. A couple of times it looked like the Arizona lineman were jumping across the line a split second before the snap, with no offsides call. The fumble that was not overturned was total BS, and did anyone else notice that about 15 seconds ticked off the clock after the Arizona TD early in the 4th? I noticed it, and also noticed that it was not corrected. Was Spartan Bob running the clock?

I still remember I was listening to the game on the radio, and can still hear Frank Beckman shouting "IT'S CRIMINAL!!"

Not that it really would have mattered, but there were quite a few 'funny' things going on in that game. 2 things:

when the color commentator said something like "well if youre a lions fan you know you are still in this because of your offense" as we were down 31-14, i nearly died laughing.

and also, when it was 4th and 1 with about 5 minutes to go and we were on the cardinals 15 or so, why did we go for a td? we were down by 17. there is no way we were going to win in regulation at that point, we should have been playing for a tie to go to ot. we had to get 3 points at eventually, why not take it then when automatic hanson only has about a 30 yarder?

Does it get any uglier than that???:lol: What I found really funny was on the OT Post Game Show,,,,, last week the question was "are the loins for real?" and everyone said,, yes. This week,,, it's,, "they're in serious trouble",,:lol: On a side-note,,,, they did set another record yesterday,,,,, did anyone catch what it was???:lol:

The part I love the best is how loins fans have been brainwashed into thinking mediocrity is somehow good. :lol:

Here is what I saw onthe Mac fumble. Just before his elbow hit the ground the ball was not in his possession, the ball seemed, to me, to be free. I think that is what replay guys saw. And at that stage of the game Williams could have taken his uniform off and it would have made no difference at all. That was one (another) stinkerooooo of a football game played by our team. Just a small P.S. During the Indy-Diego game somebody fumbled the snap and Madden said there is absolutly NO EXCUSE for doing that. You practice that all week, no excuse whatsoever. How Many times has Kitna fumbled the snap this year?

I sound like a broken record here, but THEY DON'T HAVE AN OFFENSIVE LINE! That has been their most ingrained weakness for years and years.
They will be lucky to win two more games this season.

I'd say the momentum change came with 24 unanswered points by the Cardinals. Bogus calls, bad calls, missed opportunities...........that's all part of being a perennially bad team.

The league is down this year. Other than Indy, NE, Pitts, and Dallas everyone else kind of stinks. The Lions are just the nicest smelling piece of crap in a field full of stinky pooh.

They still have a chance. Especially in the NFC since nobody but Dallas and Green Bay have established any kind of consistancy. The way it looks, the second wildcard team may come from a pool of 8-8 teams and that is certainly attainable at this point.

8 and 8 doesn't get the loins in though. They lose every tie-breaker with that pool of 8-8 teams. And realistically,,,, 9-7 probably won't get them in either. If you look at those potential 8-8 teams and the loins on paper,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, it's pretty much going to take an act of God for the loins to make it. Then again,,,, they don't play the games on paper. Either way,,,,, their not good and their not any different than any other loins team. Only the names have changed.
