on the grand 1-26-01

friend and i decided to try our luck for some steel at 6th street.was hardly anyone on the river,1 guy fishing the center runs by the dam.anyways for the 2 of us we landed 2 of 3 that graced us by takeing our offerings.1 dark hen (steelhead) and 1 nice brown, both were pushing the 8 lb mark. not bad outing as the wind was cutting like a knife.life is good when we are in the out of doors isnt it?
mechanical head ..was that you by the dam?

I saw a couple guys in the river by Michigan Street just off the west bank. Was that you guys? It did look cold in the water.

yup that must have been us cause we didnt see anyone else except the 1 guy in the center run by the dam
