Chrome cranks about 70-80 feet back running about 1.75mph right out front of Bolles Harbor in 20 fow. We slaughtered them the other day. 3 man limits the last 3 times we went out. Nice hoooowgs too(2-5lbs ave.). Good fighters!! I almost put my Trophy away but I think I might use it 1 more week to fill my freezer up for the winter. I hate to see the fishing season go. Awesome fishing right now!! I am always ready to tell the secrets. I do not hide anything. There are too many fish for me out there to catch. I enjoy seeing my fishing brothers enjoying the fishing like I do!! Thats what it is all about. Be careful out there this time of year. The water is very cold. Don't fish alone.

Thats good news, I will be out there on Sunday.
What does the water look like after the blow?
Are you running 800 reefs close to the bottom?
Anyways see anybody who's going sunday mourning.

What to do - Perch or Walleyes? I'd like to try the eyes, but have never been down there. Is this in Michigan, and are downriggers the way to go? I have them if that's best - need help..............

slow trolling long wide wobbling cranks is the best way to go at this time of year.

Downriggers work well to. Since I dont have planer boards. And with the riggers you can keep most of the floating weeds off your line. Long leads from the ball. Just dont run them too deep. With the riggers I can run more lines without getting all wraped up. And yes it's Michigan. Brest Bay near Monroe. It's on the map. Most people dock out of Stearling State park or Bolles.

No day time to burn... it would be nice to get a few fatties out of Huron, OH. Night time isn't only the right time but the only time for me to get out.
