We have a sportsmen's group at our church as well. We call it the "Field and Stream Team" (F.A.S.T). We put on wild game dinners and have pheasant hunts (ranch style) and do other things to raise money to support our out-reach agenda. We take kids from homeless shelters fishing, hunting, camping and support them through hunters safety courses. We also participate in other out-reach programs. From time to time we do go and enjoy each others hunting camps and activities and have a little fun of our own. I have met so many fantastic and like-minded Christian men that have truly been a blessing in my life. I just love being a member of this organization which has helped me grow in my Christian walk. I do not believe that my walk with Christ would have grown this fast (pardon the pun) in any other way. If you live in the area and are interested in joining such a group just call.

We have recently started as well. This years game roast and pheasant hunt will be our second anual events with this new group of guys. I believe that this is the second attemp at building this group within our church. When you have a vision that is blessed by Jesus Christ Himself how can you loose. Just roll up your shirt sleeves and be the leader that God wants you to be and it will all come together. The leader of our group keeps us all together working toward the same goal, it is scarry sometime. When we put on the last game roast (our first) we had about 30 tickets sold three weeks before the dinner, we planned for about 100. We ended up with 120. Thank God (in faith) we made extra food. Things always seem to work out when your doing them for the Glory of God. I pray that God blesses your efforts. If you ever want to talk just call me any time.

Unfortunately I often work Tuesday evenings, but in the event I am free, should I contact you before, if I can show up, or just drop in?
