Hey, i posted a while back about using spinners. I'm somewhat new to steelhead fishing. If the water is colder like in the winter, will it slow the fish down. They will probably be in the slower water right? And they probably won't be as agressive so they'd go for eggs instead of other lures?

I've done pretty good in the dead of winter on spinners. Seems like the flash and commotion really gets the fish's blood boiling at times. Almost like they need to be waked up or something. Size 3-5 in Silver seems to work the best. Also if you fish a river where everyones drifting bait you can really clean house on the steelhead with a spinner. Something different I guess.
