View Full Version : St joe
Theres still steelhead to be caught on the St Joe. Was out tues and sat and had alot of fun. No place to park though, no ones been plowing the parking areas. Was also down to the Dowagiac, and found the same story. Fish are there but I had to park on the side of the road and walk down to the river. If you like solitude now's definetly the time to go. Lots of ducks and geese, and just enough fish to make it exciting! Best of all, no charter boats!

Eric,
Sounds like a good way to spend part of the upcomming weekend.
What bait was working best for you?
Have a Happy Holidays and enjoy the outdoors. We haven't had a winter like this in several years - excellent time to be out there doing.

Have not made it to the St. Joe this year, however in the past couple of years have had great success at this time of year, just have to brave the cold.
