The St. Joe water temps. have dropped below 40 degrees for the first time this fall. Yesterdays temp was 38. The water levels were good for this time of year, and the water was relatively clear. The problem is this: the fish. I have only hit 2 fish in the last two weeks.

MP-
I've tried some spots on the Joe, but I guess was too late to get on the fall run. Then hunting season starts, and I loose interest quick when not catching fish.
I want to try it this Feb. any suggestions? I am thinking of putting in possibly at the berrien county sportsmans club or at the I-94 launch. I live north of St. joe and i'd prefer not to have to haul my rickety trailer too far in the winter.
thanks,
ben
I like to put in at shamrock park, as long as it's not too busy. Feb usaully isn't too bad for crowds, as long as the weather doesn't get too nice.
