Well everyone.. going to college at Lake Superior State University will be ending for me in a few months as I graduate in December. The area (Sault Sainte Marie, MI)offers numerous outdoor activities but I mostly found myself getting out to this amazing river. I hope everyone might be able to visit it at some time. It has certainly given me some lasting memories. If anyone has any questions about fishing there feel free to ask.

Here are a few photos and if you would like to view some more just click on the following link and use the arrows to browse through or choose to do a slideshow. My brother, father and some friends are included as well. The movie is of an acquaintance from crossing paths on the river many times. He only spey fishes and is at the end of a fight landing an atlantic salmon. I apologize the quality is poor.

Very awesome fish that you caught and very excellant catches of those atlantic.I never caught a male with the kyped jay such as those in your photos but I did recently catch a female atlantic which was awesome and rare catch for where I fish at.Thanks for sharing your video and pictures.

Well it sure doesn't look like any laker I've ever caught! But all of them I've ever caught were out of Lake Michigan... so there you go.

I just noticed that laker has vent clips, as did the one I caught in the rapids while I was up there. Do the feds clip the ventral fins in Lake Huron? or...?

Most are Left Pec, Right Vent...

if it's a adipose fin, the fish is wire tagged.

That fish looks to be missing it's right vent...

my fish had the left vent missing and had both pec fins as well as the adipose
