Big Blue Lake in Muskegeon County has no size limit and a 5 fish per day possession limit. Lot of action when casting or on live bait. Most of the fish will be small but the action can make up for that.
Get a copy of the Sportsmen Connection map books and look through it for lakes to visit. Stop at local bait shops and ask them. And, stop in at the local taverns and diners. Ask the people there and if a good lake is around they will start to brag about it.

my buddy and i have caught quite a few 30"+ out of Wixom.
Shamrock is another decent spot.just stay away from the west end.it`s very very shallow.
Littlefield has some nice ones.
caught a few out of Budd aswell.but nothing too big yet.
all trolling with large spinners.
