HEADS UP!
:hide:

I don't even have to wait for the fireworks to start about this sub-forum.:dizzy:
Some people are gonna make a humongous fuss about having religion involved in a sportsman's website (as if the two are mutually exclusive).

I applaud you Steve.

Let the show begin!

There will be no debate about religion on this forum. The moderators will promptly remove it. This forum will be strictly for prayer requests, prayers of thanks, etc. Rules for this forum will be spelled out tomorrow.

Welcome all of you - I have posted a sticky on top - with what I believe to be the guidlines - I, personally, don't think we'll need much - but - just in case - bomb tossers and debaters will be moved to Sound Off - were those discussions are more than welcome -

This forum, as stated by the owner, is for like minded people to give thanks to Him that we know created the great outdoors that we respect and enjoy so much -

May our Lord bless this 'micro ministry' to His service -

I don't know why anyone would make a fuss. This may shock a lot of people since many of my posts are very open minded and I tend to question a lot of things, but I do believe in God. And every minute I spend in the outdoors...in the heart of creation, only strengthen's my belief.

I think a non-denominational forum where one can express one's belief is a good thing!

Great additon to MS. I think at one point in our life, we all could use a little help in the form of prayers and praise from Him as well as one another.:)

My 2 cents:

There are many many things worse in life, than someone taking up religion and I can only see this as being a positive thing.

1000casts, well said.

Every time I'm in the woods, I am truly amazed at the creation. Images of the woods and deer from days gone by have been burned into my mind's eye and I know exactly who to thank for the opportunity to be in such a fantastic place.

I was getting very tired of all the "bickering" about so many topics on MS and was humbled to see this forum start. Thanks guys for bringing things back to perspective for me. AWESOME idea!

Yeah well done guys, just found this forum today. Like my sig says it's in the woods that I return to reason and faith.

Even with work kicking my tail and funds tight I know He's in control and He's just trying to tell me and show me that everyday.

God Bless,

Hemish

Some of the best "church sessions" I have ever had have been out in the woods.
