Hard to believe where all the time goes....
I figured I'd give an "update" to my biggest 'eye to date.
Last January I landed a 31" walleye largely due to the netting skills of Severus (Kenny you rock) and the trolling & guiding skills of the notorious Sixshooter (Thanks YET again for the trip Jimmy!)
Kenny's scale showed 11-9 and I did take it in for entry in the Master Angler Awards Program , so I needed to have it weighed on a "Certified" scale....
She ended up pulling 12.4 LBs!!! I was surprised for sure , I also took it to Randy Brenner of Brenners Service to have it taxidermied.
Thanks Randy!!!
:)
Some of you may remember this picture from the "Have you seen this man?" (http://www.michigan-sportsman.com/forum/showthread.php?t=167164) thread of earlier this year.....

Here's how she turned out - I am likey going to hang a lure from her jaw , but just got it home and figured I'd post a few pics of Randy's artwork.
;)

She will more than likely take up residence above our bed , since lately I've been counting 'eyes in my sleep - it's only fitting this one jumps over the bed!!

ENJOY!

Damn nice fish there, bro.

But between hanging it over the bed and "kicking up the wife's soup a notch', you'll prob be your own chef for a while;)

It was Dawn's idea - one time Mister ED was over & we were talking about his 8.6LB'er DZ did for him and the subject came up about where to hang it....
AND....
Nah .. we don't hold onto things like that Brandon...
That's just one way we learn from each other..... The soup must have been "OK" since you jammed a few spoonfuls in yer pie-hole!!
  ;)

Brent - you ice fish , don't ya?? This is MUCH more mobile and the results are grand.
Stop on over this "winter" and I'll take ya for a ride. Just dress warm - and wait for the big girls to call!!

Now that there was funny.

I'm thinking it was probably LadyGills decission to put the eye above the bed. Least she'll have something pleasing to look at in the bedroom.

Nice Job Robert!! It looks like a nice mount. I'll hafta swing over and take a look, once I start setting traps down your way.

Don't ever cut your hair Krusty!! It's like a trademark.. I'm sure it would be some kind of "infringement" if you cut it.

Don't forget that was the first of TWO that were nearly the same size that evening for you Robert. The other fish I caught were much smaller....and not wall worthy.

And to think we almost left you at the launch cause you were like an hour late....hahahaha.....

Might have to try and get out a time or two this fall/winter...if it shows up that is...

Well I'll NEVER forget that Jimmy!!
Larry surely found your fish 'worthy' though and they were nice'ns!!
It was one of those nights when "you're in the zone" and you can bet you're bippy that I'd sure take a ride with you anytime sailor.
;)
I also have purchased a few more of that special color "bomber" and if we get together - I'd be more than happy to loan you one!
:D
Just like down by the sub ; I'll net your fish ANYTIME Jim!!
