I'm looking at getting the hearing enhancements/protection for the upcoming gun season. I was looking for some heads up from anyone out there that has purchased and used any of these. I would like to hear from you.

Thanks

I tried some years ago but sent them back. Trouble is, they magnify everything. If you like sitting in a tree listening to every dog barking in a 2 or 3 square mile area, or even listening to traffic or combines, tractors or even kids screaming, then it is for you. Even when it starts raining or if you have high winds, they are just too noisy and I prefer the natural sounds of the woods rather than through one of these things.

Good theory but bad in practice. Still, some like them.

Ok, doesn't seem to be alot of hunters using this but I keep seeing them more and more in the catalogs etc. I've looked on line at Cabelas and didn't like what I read as far as the reviews.
I was looking for something to wear up in the Northern lower where you don't have the noise of dogs barking and all of the traffic. If anyone has used any of this I would love to hear from you.

Let's be careful out there, hunt safe, hunt like sportsman, enjoy this wonderful time of year. My favorite.
