Grouse in rain

Is their good grouse hunting in the rain or do they hold tight during rain?

Typically they are in pines if it's really raining, especially if it's windy. If your hunting with a dog, of course the scent rinses away in a soaker. I have on more than one occasion hunted through a decent rain, flushes from tree limbs aren't like flushes from the ground and they make shooting really tough. I'd say, if the only day you have to hunt it's raining go anyway, if you can put it off, I would wait for a rainless day.
