11 months old. Been working with her all summer. Finaly pays off! here is her first bird! Never owning a hunting dog before, this is pretty cool! :D

1st hunt at fruitridge pheaset farm, Purchased 6 birds, flushed up all 6, dropped 4. not too bad for the first time! (2 birds flew too soon to shoot) :coolgleam

Very cool. You know that that pup needs an accomplice. you will find that you like hunting birds so much you won't want to wear out one dog, He is lonely and needs a friend, etc. You can solicit other excuse for adding to the family.

By the way, what's with the pink bird bag over to the right in the second photo?:evil:

What? you don't like my ammo bag? It match the dog's collar!:lol::lol::lol:

(The wife and kids meet me at the farm to do lunch aftewards.)

For those who asked: The dog is a Silver Lab. and yes I would love to get a second dog. maybe once this one is a few years old. It's no joke, when someones says it's allot of work to train a dog. I have allot of time and money into the first year!!!!

I am glad you went all the way with training that beautiful Lab. Congrats on the birds!
