I went up north thursday on my birthday taking thurs and fri off, about 645 pm,thurs my "present" walked in and toyed with my for about 15 minutes before turning to walk away, he gave me as broadside shot at about 18 yards, so i took it :lol: and he went about 40 yards, i got down and found him after about 15 minutes,, called my hunting partner about a 1/2 mile away and he had walked out to his truck for his flashlight after having stuck a 7 point ( broken brow tine :sad: 8 point) with the weather being real crappy we elected to get mine in first then go find his, it seemed unusally windy with alot of lightning on the alcona/oscoda county line area whie tracking his down, 80 yards- no real blood trail- heart shot thru shoulder blade:rolleyes:, we later found out a tornado went thru three miles north of us while we were tracking his in the swamp!! first on record tornados in october in area, cant complain to much it left the lights on in the bar for us :D ( i didnt tag it untill after the picture was taken as I had to drag it thru a real mess to get it to the truck, having lost a tag doing that two years ago- snagged in brush and pulled off and it took longer to refind the tag then to find the deer i waited untill it was loaded up) http://www.michigan-sportsman.com/photopost/data/3046/deer_07_093a.JPG (http://www.michigan-sportsman.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=66951&sortby=f&sorttime=1&way=asc)
