;) Hit a small local Kettle Lake yesterday. The water was dead calm and the fish were active. We boated about 10 pike and 15 largemouth in about 3 hours. Diane got her personal best bass.

The big largemouth weighed in at 6.2 lbs on the digital scale. It was released to grow bigger. I caught a few as well.. BUt they were all smaller.:sad:

good going awsome pics makes me want to go right now and target some pike. what were you using?

Nice job and what a pig of a bass. That thing looks like it's been feeding on ducks. I was on a small inland lake yesterday also. We caught a few. They were not as active as the week before though.

A 6+ lb Canadien bass... What's that make it weigh in the US? LOL!!

That is a FAT bass and some nice pike. Now's the time to get out there. Hopefully I can produce some results like yours when I get out there this weekend.

In my boat it's like this

up to 3 lbs is a keeper
3-5 lbs is a toad
anythingover 5 lbs is a HOG!!!!

All fish caught on white big o's or yum dingers.. BIg Bass on yum dinger..purple shad.

Did you get a length on that 6#er? That is one of the fattest michigan fish I have ever seen.

Length was 21" but definitely chunky! :) The place is by Cambridge, On

It was a blast when she hit and then took off right back under the tree limbs. Ended up pulling both of us and then canoe in before Salmon could get his line out and paddle ready.
