Hey was planning a trip to the Dowagiac River and creek for some brown trout fishing. I would was wondering what fly patterns were working and also if any hatches were occuring with any prevelence. I hear that other rivers up in the Northern lower penninsula have started some hatches. Also was wondering about the Upper Rabbit River. I heard that some pesticide leak into the watershed many years ago and a huge fish kill occured. Just like to know if the river recovered. Finally I hope all the great anglers on this site wished their moms a happy mother's day. See ya' on the river.
