Read in the paper that Chris Webber is no longer on the Piston team. What happened? Did not read or hear about the whys and wherefore of his departure. Anybody know anything?
I believe it has to do with the signing rules of the NBA. Im not into all the "rules", but we got him for a last part of last season and it only cost the Pistons something like $800,000.00 cause Philly bought out his contract.
Freeing him to sign with the Pistons. Now if the pistons want to sign him they have to offer him a "real" contract, that is pay the BIG BUCKS to get him. Dont know if the pistons want to spend a few Million per year to sign Webber. Dont know if he's worth it.
