Possibly looking for someone to either teach me how to trap Coyote or maybe just someone to do it for me on private land near Omer in Arenac county. I own 40 acres and lease another 80... Myself and the neighbors(another 500 acres) have found ourselves with a pretty good population of dogs that desperatley needs to be reduced. I'm not a trapper and don't really want to be or have the time, but we need to reduce the #'s. Gonna do some hunting for them this winter after deer season but I really don't think that will be enough.

We have always had sightings and heard them but it was mostly in the distance....well they have moved right in this year. There's probably 12-15 dogs dened up on a 20 acre clear cut that borders my 40. They are heard every night....gut piles are totally clean up over night on my 40.

Any help uot there....let me know!!!!

I would really like to help you out, REALLY I WOULD!. Way too far away fro me this year. I hail from the Grand Rapids area..... long drive everyday. Maybe next year, cause I will be relocating for the trapping season!

Thanks for the replys and the PM's....I may take someone up for the help hunting them this winter. An update: we are 2 less yote's in the area...one shot with 22mag and one taken out by another neighbor with bow. Still lots of dogs around though!!!!
