Clothes loaded with burrs, I have always just picked them out by hand, washed them, and then picked out any remaining burr hairs. The washing machine tends to break them down I bit IMO.

You can take a knife (not really sharp) lay your clothes on a tabble, outside and shave them off. Hold the knife straight and light strokes. I have also used a dog brush (wire) to comb them out (same fashion flat on a table) works wonders on fleece, straightens it out, gets rid of the little balls. FRANK

Get yourself a pumice stone. Gently rub the area and they will peel right off. I think Cabelas has one they call Burzoff or something like that. Can get it from horse supply catalogs, too. They use it to remove bot fly eggs from the horse's hair. Amazingly easy.

Huh?
You're not trying to make fun of his spelling and show the correct, are you? If you want to play spelling police, at least get it right.

The area I hunt is loaded with them. The only thing I have found to work well is mix one cocktail, turn on the game, and start pluckin'. Pain in the rear.

I have this problem too....I am going to try a stiff bristle comb and see if that will work. The wife isn't real fond of me putting them in the wash machine...I guess they don't all wash down the drain after the rinse....who knew :)

Easiest way is set a propane torch on low and burn them off, then buy new cloth's.

Shop Vac, Remove clothes and vaccum with a strong shop vac. Although this will not work on Fleece clothes.

well. best i have done is avoid them to begin with. wear nylon fronted brush busters. also slipping a nylon wind suit over your regular clothing works.

Cabela's has something called " Burr Off ".
It looks like a piece of lava rock about 8 " long with 3 sides of different texture.
The guys I asked says it works great. Works on flece, wool, dogs, canvas, etc.........
I bought one but haven't had to test it out yet.

I've spent too many nights sitting around a campfire with my buck knife shaving the burrs off my polar fleece. No good way around it. Just time and energy. I got sick of doing it and got rid of any fleece that I was wearing as an outer layer. Replaced it with micro fleece and have never had to shave again.
I love fleece, but the burrs where more headache than they were worth.

That is the pumice stone I mentioned in my earlier post, and it does indeed work as advertised.
