Check the Ford Field website for parking maps. Most of the lots close to the stadium are by ticket only for pre-paid season ticket holders. The area around/near eastern market are generally open and hold good numbers of 'gaters. I think parking is free in that area, or you can prolly find a lot for $20 or so. Game time is 1:00p, so your arrival time should depend on how drunk you want to get. :D I would say 9ish to get a good time in.

West side of Woodward a few blocks north of Comerica park on the west side of Woodward. The two lots on the south end are run by Illich. The third is smaller and is bordered on the north by the Viet Nams Veteran club. It is a good lot to party in but fills up by about 10:30 or so most games. The guys that run the lot are vets and they assure you that nothing will happen to your car during the game. They carry their own security if you know what I mean. Great group of guys too. Go Lions

I like the surface lots off of Woodward across from the FOX. These lots are around $20.00. If you go a bit further south (its not worth the money) you can park in an adjacent lot right next to Chelli's for $30.00.

I think Ill try the vets lots. I know that area pretty well. It should be a great game and the weather looks great that day. One more question, are there porta poties around for the wife, or do I have to take the bucket and pop up deer blind for her? Thanks again for the info.
