Hubbard Lake 10/13am

Carved out a couple hours before sending the boat to storage. Fished East Bay from 8 to 11am and got 4 knife worthy perch, couple toss backs and missed a few bites. Apparently, they weren't hungry. I had 3 other boats within a stone's throw, they seemed to be doing about the same. Did'nt have the bait I would prefer, got up late and had only crawlers at my disposal. Fished 12 fow, 1' off the bottom under a bobber. Still have the row boat available, so I might yet try again before ice...com'on ice!

Sounds like the fishing has kind of tailed off. Northwood and I made our last trip of the year on October 7th but targetted eyes. Only managed 3 keepers on two trips, fish were running smaller then normal. We did manage a quadruple header right at dark on saturday night, all four fish came on the riggers, not a keeper in the lot. Which I guess is a good thing for next year.
