It will be worth the trip. Try trolling around Ennis Reef

Where is that at. I heard they are catching hogs over there. I just want to catch and release with my son for an experience!

A number of years ago we went to Pelee Island and had a field day on Smallmouth using crawfish, walleye and perch. I don't keep smallmouth some of the guys did. We went to Bombas to get the fish cleaned and I remember the look on a couple of old guys faces when we dumped 2 coolers full of walleye, perch and bass to get cleaned. PRICELESS. A long run but if the day is nice well worth the time.

Good fishing around Pelee. I Fish that area a bit (I have a cottage fairly close to it). I ususally fish the southern end for smallies and the wagon wheel reef for 'eyes. Grubb reef is excellent for huge perch and smallies this tiome of years. The 'eyes are everywhere when they run through there. You might be best off putting in at Leamington if you can.
