Bobcat in January

I'm going to be in Charlevoix in January for a wedding and was hoping to sneak out for some predator hunting, hoping to try for a bobcat. Anyone have any pointers?

I would also like any info on Bobcat. I'm going to try my luck in Farwell on some state land.

I can tell you what little I know since nobody has spoken up. The few times I have hunted them with dogs I know that a cat will not leave an area just because he smells you unlike a coyote will. The other thing is that cat's can and will take there time coming in on a call over a half hour is not uncommom. The reason that I was told why they can take there time is if a yote gets to the so called rabbit 1st the cat will take it away from him.

Cats like rabbits and rabbits like swamps that where I start my day.
