Since Roasts are all the rage these days, I was sitting on the toilet the other day and thought it's time to Roast the founder of this great site!
MODS and Steve feel free to delete if so appropriate. I know, it's kinda crazy.
MEMBERS: lets try to keep it clean.
Let me start the festivities:
Steve is such a good hunter he lives near the heart of Michigan's biggest deer herd... Kennsington Metropark.

You could also say I'm in favor of downsizing both government and signatures.

Don't let too many people hear that idea of catch and release deer hunting or somebody might latch onto it and like it.

What can you say about a man who is admired, revered, and loved by everyone? I can start by saying he’s not the man we’re honoring tonight.
Steve’s afraid nobody will remember him when he’s gone. Gee, I can think of several reasons he’ll be remembered. He wouldn’t like any of them, but I can think of them.
Hey, what do you expect from a guy who was born in an Edsel?

Isn't he the guy who's wife took away his 4-wheeler, so to save face he wrote an article about the benefits of using a mountain bike for hunting as if he wanted to by choice. :D

Steve sure seems like a pretty nice guy. Heck I ever remember him posting 7 years ago on a site called Hunt America begging people to come to this site.
The one thing that has always freaked me out though is....... why he has a picture of an escaped insane asylum guy as his avatar??

Why did the Doc smack his mother? Was it because he had to smack something and couldn't figure which end on Steve to smack.

I’m not saying that Steve is getting old or that his eye sight is going bad, but the main reason that he like us to have smaller signatures is that on his 72 in. monitor “Everyone’s Signature Looks Big.”:yikes:

Hello Steve
I've never met you that I know of, although we may have met on the Huron
at one time or another since it is my favorite river and I have spent a lifetime on it.
You have created the best outdoor forum that Michigan has ever seen
and for that I Thankyou!
I never understood the idea of making jokes of someone to honor them, so I'll leave that to those that do.
take care

Even though I don't know Steve personally, I still feel like I have gotten to know him pretty well on-line, and knew I wanted to say a few words at his roast.
Great trout fisherman, skilled deer hunter, computer genius, witty conversationalist, babe magnet, pillar of the community, successful businessman, consumate conservationist, and all around great guy.
But, enough about myself, and back to Steve............um......well,............
