What the **** is wrong with the St. Joe?

What is the deal with the St. Joe? Fished it Saturday with Mr. Harry Callahan, and only managed one small steelhead. Last year it seemed like you couldn't go wrong there. And what is the deal with the breakaway buoy right in the middle of the prime drift? I don't really even know if I'll go back there this year....pretty sad!

I dunno. It is crazy. I saw a guy go out on the pier yesterday. Didn't stick around to see how he did. The river is cleared out, but the lake side is still iced over good. With this warm weather, the ice should go out to sea soon.
