Hi all, just sharing an interesting thing I found that most of you all probably know. My sportsman club runs a 22 siloute (sp) shoot once in a while. I was getting ready for my first go at it and found that my 22 (old accurate singleshot) did not seem to group well with standard velocity like the high velocity stuff. Finally I concidered the time the bullet is in the barrel and really focused on hold, grip, breathing, trigger pull and poof..back to good groups.
Lesson learned, if you really want to develop superior form, try shooting your 22 off hand with standard velocity because if your form is faulty, your groups or scores will tell you fast.
I plan on doing quite a bit more of the standard V. to force myself to develop better habbits.
