Beer Butt Duck??

Just tried beer butt chicken technique with two mallards on Sunday for the first time. Hands down the best duck i've ever eaten. Used garlic butter marinade overnight and bud select beer. It was juicy on the inside with a crisp outside. It was delicious and i'll be using this technique in the future.

Do you think that the brand of beer matters???;);)

Are you going to try drinking the beer and then filling the can with a flavored liquid instead of beer. I have come across several recipes that do it that way.

I will now have to start to talk to some duck hunting buddies. Thanks for the cooking idea.
